How to Store Your E-Cig

How to Store Your E-Cig

If you want to get the best out of something for as long as possible, you have to do your utmost to keep it in tiptop condition. Wineries store wines away in cellars so that they develop the best taste. Proud car owners park their vehicles in the garage to stop the elements damaging them.

An e-cig is the same. You have to store it away, clearomiser and all, so that it continues to deliver the best performance, and do the same with your e-cig supplies to maintain the freshest taste.

Here at blu UK, we have a few suggestions on how to store your e-cig so that you can continue to enjoy a superior experience.

How to store your e-cig

Stand (it) up straight!

People look more confident and appealing when they stand up straight, and so will your e-cig! Storing an ecig by placing it on its side or upside down could cause the e-cig to leak, and that will deplete your beloved e-cig supplies.

How to hold up your e-cig

Old and new school storage

Slender e-cigs can actually fit into that most marvellous of household items, the toothbrush holder. Alternatively, you can store your e-cig in a mug or glass. Ideally, though, we’d much prefer you to give your electronic cigarette the TLC it deserves by storing it in the far right slot of the case of one of our e cig Starter Kits or a Premium Kit. Some people carry their traditional cigarettes or cigars around in a case. Vapers should be no different.

On the move

Of course, you can’t just go on holiday and leave your e-cigs behind! If you’re going to be on the move for a spell, you can pop your e-cig in a pencil case — make it one with a cool design on the front— or even in a toiletries bag.

Protect your e-cig on the go

Sun’s out but don’t bring the e-cig guns out

Try to store your e-cig away from the light and also from high temperatures. It’s better too if you can avoid leaving e-liquids in your e-cigarette. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can damage the taste of your e-liquid in your electronic cigarette. That said, it’s unnecessary to indulge in a marathon vaping session either simply to use up all your e-liquid and preserve your e-cig.

Lights out

Just like your e-cigarette, you should keep your bottles of e-liquids, and cartridges, out of the sun (no, putting sun cream on them won’t protect them, although it’s a nice idea). The darkness protects light from getting through to the e-liquid.

How you store your e-cigarette is your choice, but don’t forget to try a few different flavours while you come to this decision.
