Why is the nicotine level now represented as a percentage instead of milligrams (mg to %)?
blu is committed to ensuring that our customers can make informed decisions regarding the level of nicotine in the e-liquid and cartridges that they use. For that reason, we have changed the representation of our nicotine levels from milligrams (mg) to percentages (%).
By providing a percentage, such as 1.8%, we are representing that the nicotine concentration contained in the liquid. This directly corresponds to the nicotine strength per puff.
We have found that the amount of e-liquid, size of products and the representation of nicotine content of products vary significantly from brand to brand. Milligrams of nicotine (mg) used to describe a product typically indicates the maximum amount of nicotine that could be delivered over the use of the entire unit. It is not an indication of the strength of nicotine you can expect to receive in each puff.
