How do I inhale Vapor
Understanding vaping is about more than just choosing the right e-cigarette and e-liquid; it’s also about understanding how to vape. On this page, blu explores how to inhale vapor.
What technique should I use to Vape?
If you’ve not vaped before, understanding how to inhale from your e-cigarette can be a little confusing, so how do you inhale vapor?
- Prime your e-cig with a few short inhales, also called “primer puffs”.
- Purse your lips around the mouthpiece, leaving no gap between your lips and the mouthpiece.
- Take a slow, steady draw from the e-cigarette for around 3-5 seconds, depending on preference.
- Exhale the vapor slowly.
Primer puffs, which can also be referred to as dry puffs, are much shorter than regular draws - it’s suggested that they last less than a second - and no vapor should be inhaled. Primer puffs start the process which creates the vapor inside the e-cig. A few short primer puffs help improve the flavor and increase the vapor production on the first draw.
How Do I Start The Vapor Production?
Some e-cigarettes, like the blu PRO™ use a button to start the vapor production. The vaper presses the button and this activates the heating element of the device. The heating converts the e-liquid into vapor ready to be inhaled.
Other e-cigarettes, like the blu PLUS+™ and blu® Disposables don’t use a button to start vapor production. Instead, these devices have air flow detection systems that identify when an e-cigarette is being used. With these e-cigarettes, as soon as the vaper takes a draw on the e-cigarette the heating element is activated.
