Heading to the ice hockey you’ll always be hoping for a barn burner, but even though there’s nothing burning in your e-cigarette, many arenas have strict regulations regarding vaping. With 30 NHL arenas – including 7 in Canada, eh? – the rules seem similar across the board.
Whilst many of the stadiums mentioned don’t have specific policies forbidding vaping, the majority of events spaces in the USA and Canada take a hard line on vaping and so if you’re unsure, we’d advise keeping your e-cig in your pocket whilst rink-side.
At many arenas there are areas where you’ll be allowed to vape and some will let you outside to use your e-cigarette before coming back in. Here we’ve outlined the rules for all the arenas across the Eastern and Western Conferences.
