Why is the nicotine level now represented as a percentage instead of milligrams (mg to %)?

Why is the nicotine level now represented as a percentage instead of milligrams (mg to %)?

blu is committed to ensuring that adult smokers can make informed decisions regarding the level of nicotine that they choose to use. For that reason, we have changed the representation of our nicotine levels from milligrams (mg) to percentages (%).

By providing a percentage, such as 2.4%, we are representing that the nicotine concentration contained in the liquid is 2.4% of the overall weight of liquid within the blu Tank™ unit. This directly corresponds to the nicotine strength per puff that you can expect to enjoy.

We have found that the amount of liquid, size of products and the representation of nicotine content of products vary significantly from brand to brand. Milligrams of nicotine (mg) used to describe a product typically indicates the maximum amount of nicotine that could be delivered over the use of the entire unit. It is not an indication of the strength of nicotine you can expect to receive in each puff.
