The Science of Vaping

E-cigarettes have been around for nearly a decade in the UK, but understandably there are still E-cigarettes work by converting a liquid, commonly referred to as e-liquid or e-juice, into vapour which can then be inhaled. Many e-liquids contain nicotine, although unlike other means of consuming nicotine, the nicotine is not derived from burning tobacco. Here we examine how e-cigarettes and nicotine work together and what some of the leading vaping studies have had to say about its effects on those who use it.
